Andhra Pradesh Diabetes Federation is conducting 19th Annual
Scientific Meeting on October 23 and 24 in Hyderabad. Each year, about 200
doctors providing diabetes care in the Andhra Pradesh State actively participate in
the academic deliberations during the Scientific Program. This year, we expect
about 300 doctors from all over the State to participate in the meeting. The
proposed scientific program
is displayed here for your kind information. Theme of the meeting
is Feto Maternal Diabetes, and many invited lectures along with a symposium
on `Glycated Hemoglobin', `What is new ?' series of lectures and a popular post graduate quiz have been included in the program.
Lectures at
this International CME are for primary care clinicians, who are very
actively involved in diabetes day care delivery but not much into basic science research. As
epidemiology and statistics may not interest most of them, invited faculty is
requested to present more photographs, pictures, graphs, none or less tables,
few references, and no statistics. The presentations need not always be
justified with the available evidences, references and study details such as
materials and methodologies. The emphasis at this CME is on Experience
based medicine (beyond Evidence).
XIX APDF 2010 is carefully designed
to be the best academic meet for clinicians interested in diabetes care. Organizers
sincerely hope and wish to provide delegates with a great opportunity to meet
and interact with many senior teachers from other parts of India.
